Well, for me, it’s more like – “Ack! I can find hard-to-get items that remind me of home!” (I am Chinese American and my parents cook Chinese food pretty much every night). Especially valuable when you live in the middle of nowhere for most of the year.

But yes. I <3 Asian markets. Glad you do, too.

I totally agree, they are excellent. You can just pick up a few items and get totally new taste experiences. It’s a bit like when you experiment in the shops when you are overseas..

Thank you so much for the blog mention! I hope you continue to enjoy it.

I was just on a church retreat and mentioned the Lantern Review to a fellow retreat-goer. She is studying poetry in New York and was really excited to hear about it. We were in the breakfast line; hopefully she remembers the name so she can google it!

If not, we have mutual acquaintances, so I’m sure she will find the website if she wants to. Very exciting that it’s publicly underway!

lol. i’ve never tried soy sauce with cheese before. though it definitely sounds better than my brother’s soy sauce and apples. :-/
