I didn’t post this last night b/c I was still getting over it, but yesterday i heard back from my first school (WashU)…and yes, I was REJECTED. 😦 I’m kind of sad – it was my first choice. Oh, well. There was a bit of drama with my JHU app (somehow it never went through electronically even though they accepted my fee, and I didn’t find out until yesterday?) but, thank God, that was easily resolved over the phone this morning. Six more to hear back from, yet…I’ll be posting a tally as we go. I’ve heard that UMass Amherst sent out its letters yesterday, so I’ll be waiting on pins and needles to hear back from them. Don’t want to get my hopes up too much, though. So competitive…(mfa programs).

JHU: application snafu fixed.
