I’m still too chicken to submit my writing to literary journals, but a bento photo contest? I’m in.🙂
(Even though I haven’t posted bento in a long time. To be sure, I still make them almost every day. My mom even bought me a new set when we were in Canada. In fact, the reason I stopped posting them is that I can’t keep up with them anymore)
This is an old bento. More of a light lunch one. I would never survive on a lunch this small now that I’m working all day (or rather, was – today was my last day of work; perhaps my appetite problem will change once I start grad school next week). Anyway, this one is from this past winter quarter:
Contents: salami/spinach/cream cheese roll-up sandwiches; clementine; purple taro pastry bought premade at the Chinese bakery; pimento-stuffed olives and cucumber slices for filler (there were more in the lid). To drink: mini vita-soy box drink with a penguin on it, from 99 Ranch Market.
