An exciting endeavor for all involved, but especially for me, because I can breathe a little easier (at least for a little while) now that I don’t have the prospect of walls of CSS code staring me down. Can maybe sleep more, too (was up till 7 am working on Saturday night/Sunday morning and ended up skipping church).
I was all anticipation this morning, like a kid at Christmas, sitting there waiting for the clock to tick down to 10:30 so that I could hit “OK” and transfer the new index file to the site root. My celebratory breakfast was pretty standard, but comforting: Heart to Heart cereal with frozen raspberries, Rickshaw brand tea with lemon and sugar.
And it’s not over yet, kids. Our staff reviewer’s post on THE HEART’S TRAFFIC
goes up on the blog in less than half an hour is now up on the blog. And there’s more coming later this week. An interview I did with Luisa Igloria, our first weekly prompt (by associate editor M). I am SO excited. Can’t wait!

On an unrelated note, I made this ribbon rose a few days ago, from one of the ribbons that were on the books Oprah gave out at my Stanford ’08 graduation. Not sure what I should do with it: hairclip? brooch? headband? Ideas welcome.
